Information on our Distance Education Program (On-line)

Every class offered at Theoria Technical College has an option for students to attend and participate in the required 16-hour lecture from a distance in our On-line Live-Interactive Learning Environment.

The lecture can be attended via our live-interactive learning environment or on-site.  In order to participate in the Distance Education Program students MUST have access to a laptop, desktop, Ipad, or Iphone with GOOD internet connection.

If you choose to participate in the lecture on-line these steps will show you how EASY logging in and participating in our virtual learning environment is.  You don't have to be tech-savvy to participate.  It's as easy as 1-2-3 to register and log into your live online learning environment.
 

You Need

Anyone of these appropriate Technologies

  • Laptop

  • Desktop Computer

  • Ipad or Tablet

  • iPhone 
    Android

  • Wifi or Internet Connection

Step One

Register for your online course.  In order to register classes either online or on-site students will need to complete an online application.

Step Two

Step 2: Once your application is accepted and your fees paid, you will receive a link via email to your live online class 1 day prior to the date of your 2-day lecture (usually on Friday before 2:00 PM). This email will include a link to log into the live virtual learning environment.

Step Three

Step 3: On the first day of class, log into your email and click the link provided by Theoria. At the login screen type in your name and hit "Enter Room" button.  From here the teacher will accept you into the virtual learning environment.
