We are a Montessori school looking for a Toddler Teacher Assistant. The Teacher Assistant would be responsible for ensuring safety and assisting the teacher in daily classroom activities. Early Childhood units and experience with 18 months to 3 years is a plus.

Teacher Assistant Responsibilities:

* Providing a nurturing environment for children to feel secure, learn and grow

* Assisting in creating and maintaining the art curriculum

* Maintaining and fostering a constructive and ongoing rapport with the children.

* Managing day-to-day classroom activities, circle time reading stories, lunchtime, and playground supervision.

* Maintaining and replenishing materials and organizing and cleaning the classroom.

* Excellent verbal communication skills.

Qualifications would include:

* Early Childhood units are a plus for consideration for the position.

* Part-time position 8:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Monday-Friday

* Experience working with young children

* Ability to work as a team player and work independently.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
