We value preschool classroom teaching over excessive documentation! If you are an Early Childhood professional passionate about teaching young children Pre-Kindergarten (4-5 years of age) or Preschool (2-3 years of age) in an exciting and professional learning environment where your creativity is encouraged, you may be the perfect team member to join our faculty! You must have early childhood education courses (see basic requirements below), and successful preschool classroom teaching experience.

Basic Position Requirements:

• Enthusiasm for Early Childhood Profession and Preschool Teaching (ages 2-5 years)

• Successful Preschool Classroom Teaching experience (ages 2-5 years)

• Responsible, Reliable, Demonstrate Individual and Team cooperation and initiative

• Ability to plan and implement preschool curriculum with support

• Minimum of 12 core Child Development Units required by California DSS Licensing including: Child, Growth and Development; Child, Family & Community; Curriculum Course for Young Children; and an elective in early childhood education

• AA in Child Development and/or master teacher certification in child development programs preferred. Administrative units in Child Development a plus.

• California Department of Social Services (DSS) LiveScan Clearance

• Current CPR and Pediatric First Aid

• Current Mandated Reporter Certificate

• Health Clearance, Negative Covid-19 Test and Current Immunizations (upon hire)

• Local candidates within 20 miles of 92009 preferred.

• Note: Out of Area/Out of State Applicants will not be considered.

• Only Career Preschool Professionals will be considered as demonstrated by Early Childhood education, experience and future career goals.

• These are Not Elementary Ed or Behavioral Health positions.
